Brooks Real Estate Announcement
Fishers Landing Homeowners,
As you may know, we have positioned ourselves with a very progressive platform with the latest in management technology and tools, as well as have assured that our staff and property managers have the skills and resources to service our clients. Through the pandemic we have managed our program tightly, and have navigated into, during, and post Covid with on-time services, maintenance of all budgets, and open lines of communication, as well as extremely low vacancies and very low delinquencies in our lease/management programs. And, have maintained our contractor and vendor relationships to assure our properties have the needed maintenance work completed, and their capital projects moving forward.
With that said, expansion is always a strategy we give great thought to assure we maintain the integrity and consistency in our programs. Melissa Sabb has managed our Community Association Management portfolio with care and precision with excellent results and has positioned us to expand our Community Association Management program.
We would like to introduce Michael Kwiatek. Michael will be working alongside of Melissa Sabb as a Community Association Manager. He has been in the community and property management business for over twenty-five (25) years and holds outstanding designations and certifications in the field (ARM, CPM, CMCA, AMS), and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the job.
As a Community Association Manager, Michael is committed to assisting his communities in managing their association business on a daily basis from accounting to administration to facilities management. We are very excited to be able have Michael as part of our Brooks Real Estate Team. We are so proud of the work Melissa and the staff have done over the years to build our Community Association Management program, and are confident the integrity and hard work will continue to be the cornerstone of our program.
As we go into 2022, we have many new Communities in our program. Melissa will maintain many of her existing Communities, and Michael will take on some of our existing communities as well as some new Communities. Michael will be reaching out over the next couple weeks to those communities that will transition to Michael, and appreciate each Community Leadership working with Michael with the same professionalism and positive approach that has always been part of our relationship with our Associations. We are grateful for all of our business and working relationships, and look forward to working with each of community, client, contractor, and vendor into the future.

Hurricane Isaias
Dear Owners,
We are closely monitoring Hurricane Isaias. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for our area with an increased chance for tropical storm force winds to come through the area. The window for Tropical Storm Force Winds begins early Tuesday Morning until Tuesday afternoon with a potential for winds between 58 to 73 MPH. We encourage you to take precautions to ensure as minimal disruption as possible.
- Bring outside items in if they could be picked up by the wind.
- Grills, lawn furniture, decorative items should be secured so they will not become a projectile.
- Always, always remember to report any power outages to dom.com or by calling 1-888-667-3000. Do not assume that someone else in the community has made the call.
- Continue to monitor the weather. There may be some dramatic changes to the timing and placement of the track.
MOST IMPORTANTLY
- Check your hurricane kits. Remember the COVID-19 crisis is still happening.
- Keep COVID-19 in mind when planning. Make sure there are plenty of masks in the hurricane kits.
- Shelters may not have the same capacity as they had before COVID-19? So keep all that in mind.
We have vendors that will be providing storm clean-up if the need should arise, they have their instructions and will respond accordingly.
If you have a life threatening emergency you should call 911. Brooks Real Estate, Inc., has an after-hour emergency number (757-229-1507). You should call this number if you observe an immediate threat to association property, a manager will respond as quickly as possible. I will conduct an inspection of your community after the storm has passed and there is no longer a safety concern.
Once again please be reminded that debris removal efforts for the common areas will not begin until the winds have stopped unless immediate containment is required to sustain life or property.
Please take proper precautions to keep you and your family safe.
